Mission Statement
The purpose of this club shall be educational. The club will encourage an organized effort to restore and conserve wildlife, promote and develop better marksmanship among members of the club and community, with a view towards the safe and proper handling of firearms and less wounding of game of all kinds, to stimulate fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism. The club is formed as a not-for-profit organization.
General Membership Meetings:
On the first Thursday of every month starting at 7pm the Springville Field and Stream Club opens its doors to the public and members alike (Visitors that are not members may not vote on any motion during these meetings). Join your fellow members for camaraderie, entertainment, and to get all the latest news and information pertaining to the club. At this meeting prospective new members are read in/discussed/voted on, committee chairman report on the current status of their work/projects, the board puts forth any recommendations to be voted on, finances are reviewed, stories are told and any questions, comments or suggestions members and visitors may have are discussed. Please come early if you have any business you need to conduct with members of the Board (IE pay dues).
Board of Directors Meetings:
On the third Thursday of every month starting at 7PM the Board of Directors convenes to establish policies for the management and oversight of the Club. This meeting is not open to the public; members may attend but must abstain from any vote that may occur.
